Tina Kandelaki, deputy general director of Gazprom-Media, supported the Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarova which continues the rehabilitation process.
Earlier, Kostomarov posted a new video on a social network in which he does physical exercises with prosthetic legs.
– Roma, you are both handsome and well made, and above all – a real fighter! I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery! – Kandelaki wrote on the Telegram channel.
Kostomarov was hospitalized in January, since then the 46-year-old figure skater has been under medical supervision. The athlete suffered several amputations. In May, he posted on social media thanking everyone for their support.
Kostomarov, paired with Tatyana Navka, won the 2006 Olympics in Turin in ice dancing. Additionally, the duo have won the World Championships twice and won the European Championships gold medals three times.
