European Diving Champion Maria Polyakova told that she sees any departure as a chance to confirm her level.
Polyakova on the last day of the Russian Championship in Yekaterinburg won silver on the three-meter springboard.
– Of course, you always want to perform in the best possible way. Satisfied with this result.
– What was wrong with the other guys?
– I didn’t really prepare for the 1 meter springboard, in the “synchronous” fight it’s always tense. Of the “three”, the gap was minimal.
– You don’t get bored without international competitions?
– For me, each departure, whatever happens, is an upheaval. Each time you defend the honor of the region, you confirm your level. What happened yesterday is left behind, you have to show what you are capable of again,” Polyakova told .
