Lyudmila and Elena will play at Wimbledon 2023 next week
Ukrainian Lyudmila Kichenok And Elena Ostapenko from Latvia withdrew from the match of the 1/2 finals of the WTA 500 tournament in the British Eastbourne.
Kichenok and Ostapenko were supposed to play against second seeds Nicole Melihar-Martinez and Ellen Perez today.
On Thursday, June 29, Ostapenko was unable to finish the match against Italian Camila Giorgi in the 1/4 finals of the singles tournament in Eastbourne due to dizziness.
Kichenok and Ostapenko are due to start in the 2023 Wimbledon doubles next week. Ukrainian and Latvian received the seventh seed and in the first round will play against the British duo Harriet Dart/Heather Watson.
