Athletistic/Figure Skating. Tatyana Tarasova, Honored Coach of the USSR in Figure Skating, announced the possibility of Russian figure skaters to participate in the Grand Prix series.
On Wednesday, the International Skating Union (ISU) released the breakdown of participants at the Grand Prix stages, where Russian skaters are not on the list.
“There are probably no more chances. It can affect the motivation of skaters,” Tarasova said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The Figure Skating Grands Prix series consists of six stops: the first will take place October 20-22 in Allen, Texas, USA, and the last will take place November 24-26 in Osaka, Japan. The last stage will take place in Beijing from December 7 to 10.
