The blue-yellows led 2-0 in sets, but lost three games in a row
Men’s national volleyball team of Ukraine failed to reach the final Golden Euroleague. In the semi-finals, the team of Ugis Krastiņš lost Czech Republic.
The blue-yellows won the first and second sets – 25:23 and 25:22, respectively. However, the Ukrainian volleyball players failed to bring the meeting to victory.
The Czech Republic won the next two games and leveled the score. In the decisive fifth set, the Czechs were also stronger – 15:10.
In the final of the Golden Euroleague, the Czech Republic will meet the winner of the match Turkey – Croatia. Ukraine, June 19, will play in the duel for third place.
Last year, Ukraine reached the finals of the Golden Euroleague. In the decisive match, the Ukrainians lost to Turkey.
