– Why give a child figure skating?
– I am always in favor of choosing the sport that the child likes. I will not say that we must give everyone figure skating.
For me, figure skating is what I love. It is a sport, of course, in the first place. It’s not just “Faster, Higher, Stronger”. There is a creative component, art. Selection of images, programs, implantation in a new role, such as a theatrical component. For me, that has always been important. It has always fascinated me. I like figure skating because it is a combination of art and sport, – reports correspondent Shcherbakova.
