Ukraine U-21 will play in the quarter-finals of Euro 2023 on July 2
Midfielder youth team of Ukraine Vladimir Brazhko shared his expectations from the match against the team France in the quarter-finals of Euro 2023.
“We played with the French twice, we know this team well. They know us well too. But I think that we no longer have the same team that we had a year ago. We began to play better, act more concentrated. I think that everything will work out for us, and we will win.”
“France is a top team, where every player is of a high level. But I’m not afraid of anyone, no matter who plays against me. Also, our team is not afraid of the opponent. It doesn’t matter who will play against me,” Brazhko said.
At the European Youth Championship, Brazhko took part in three group stage matches.
On Friday evening, the delegation of the youth team of Ukraine moved from Bucharest to Cluj-Napoca, where the match with France will take place. The fight will take place on July 2, starting at 22:00 Kyiv time.
The winner of the France-Ukraine pair in the 1/2 finals will play with the best in the confrontation Spain-Switzerland. The semi-final match will take place on July 5 in Bucharest.
The 2023 European Championship final is scheduled for July 8 in Batumi. Recall that the three best teams of the tournament, except for France and England, will receive tickets to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
