The International Federation of the Worldloppet marathon series announced on the official website the suspension of Russian and Belarusian skiers from participating in competitions under its auspices.
– According to FIS rules, Russian and Belarusian skiers are not allowed to participate in Worldloppet races. This decision will remain in place until the situation changes dramatically,” the statement read.
Additionally, Worldloppet has excluded the Demino Marathon from the list of competitions in the series.
