“We received letters in June from the Italian side, where the U19 and 23 world championships were taking place, and from the German side, where the adult world championship will be taking place.
These letters inform that Russian athletes will not be able to participate in these tournaments due to the fact that they will not be able to provide security. Therefore, we did not receive an invitation to these competitions,” Russian national team head coach Alexander Kostoglad told TASS.
