Ex-figure skater Loboda opened up about pregnancy and motherhood

Former figure skater Alla Loboda admitted that she loves motherhood.

Loboda, who danced on ice with Pavel Drozd, ended his athletic career aged 20 in 2019.

– A year or two after the end of my career, I got pregnant, and it seems to me that during this time I achieved everything and even more. And pregnant, I always led an active lifestyle, it does not hinder me in any way. I always wanted to be a mother, I love her very much, it’s the best chapter of my life and I’m ready to talk about it endlessly. And so today, it was by chance that Lena Ilyinykh wrote to me, said a very correct thing: “A child should not work out hooks and tricks” (laughs). Yes, it’s a great responsibility, but at the same time it’s boundless happiness. The best thing that can happen to me, said the skater to the championship.

Loboda, paired with Drozd, became a two-time winner of the world championships in juniors (2016, 2017) and won silver three times in the final of the Grand Prix in juniors.

Championship
