Athletistic/Other. In the summer of 2023, huge warehouses containing illegal substances and large clandestine laboratories were discovered in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has flagged these violations, noting their large-scale nature.
The official press release announced the confiscation of approximately 550,000 packages of illegal substances, including anabolic and androgenic steroids. In ten clandestine laboratories located in three European countries, several tons of raw materials for the production of doping and hundreds of the latest psychotropic drugs were found. Police made arrests, detaining a total of 19 people.
