Former figure skater Alla Loboda admitted that she was not interested in watching international competitions.
— Do I watch international departures? I just caught myself thinking that this season I haven’t watched anything at all. On the contrary, it was pointless. I love cheering on my people, my country and watching the competitors go by. So this season I was not interested, – said the athlete “Championship”.
The International Skating Union (ISU) confirmed in early June the suspension of Russian athletes from participating in competitions under the organization’s auspices. This decision was taken in 2022 in the context of the situation in Ukraine.
