Alexandria on the official website of the club announced the transition of the defender Denis Miroshnichenko V SC Dnepr-1. The amount of the transfer was 250 thousand dollars.
Miroshnichenko became a player of Alexandria in 2019. The defender has made 99 appearances for Citizens in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and 4 assists.
Previously, Miroshnichenko played for Kryvbas, the youth team of Dnipro and Karpaty. In March 2023, the 28-year-old defender was called up to the Ukrainian national team for the Euro 2024 qualifier with England (0:2), but did not enter the field.
In the summer, defender Andrei Tsurikov, midfielder Emil Mustafaev and striker Oleg Kozhushko left Alexandria. Also, the Citizens did not renew the lease agreements of defender Valery Bondarenko, midfielder Bohdan Biloshevsky and winger Vikentiy Voloshin.
In early July, Dnipro-1 signed Minai’s defender Oleg Gorin. The contract is for two years.
Last season, Dnepr-1 took second place in the standings of the Ukrainian championship, Alexandria became the sixth.
