Choreographer Nikolai Moroshkin, in an interview with , told about the free short programs of figure skaters Yasmina Kadyrova And Valeria Kolesova .
Kadyrova and Kolesov paired up in February 2022. They train at Tamara Moskvina’s club and made their debut together last season. The sporty couple has silver and bronze from the stages of the Russian Grand Prix, as well as fourth place in the Russian Championship.
— What can you reveal about the productions of Yasmina Kadyrova and Valery Kolesov?
– I would describe the short program as young, ambitious, fast, confident and sassy in a good way. Artur Leonidovich (Minchuk) and I liked the music and the idea for the guys. I staged with choreographer Valeria Chistyakova and Ksenia Mikheeva added colors. We are very pleased with the appearance of the guys in this program.
The free program was staged by Anzhelika Krylova, the pictures turned out to be very bright and incendiary. It’s good that the two programs contrast strongly with each other!
– Yasmina and Valery perform together for only one season. How do you assess these beginnings, what are their current goals and ambitions?
– Yasmina and Valery are good guys! They faced a serious task – to get into the top 4 in the Russian championship, and the guys did it. Throughout the season they have shown reliability and quality in the performance of the elements, they are constantly improving in speed and in climbs. Already now in the training camp, I see that Yasmina and Valera are growing and their ceiling is not visible. They are hard working, hungry for success, kind, sincere and cheerful. Therefore, I am sure that everything will be fine in the new season. I see they want to look better, they have the most serious attitude, Moroshkin told .
