The Spaniard is a free agent
Seville does not consider the option of returning an experienced defender Sergio Ramos.
“The return of Ramos is not considered. This is not an option for us. We have a good relationship with his agents, but there are no negotiations.”
“He is a great player who grew up in our academy, but today he is not an option for Sevilla,” said club vice president Nido Carrasco.
Sergio played for Sevilla from 2022 to 2005. Then the Spaniard moved to Real Madrid, where he spent 16 years.
Ramos, 37, left PSG in June. It was reported that clubs from Saudi Arabia were interested in the defender’s services, but the Spaniard intends to move to Inter from Miami.
Sergio made 45 appearances for the French team in all competitions last season, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
Sevilla ended the season in 12th place in La Liga. Thanks to the triumph in the Europa League, the team of José Luis Mendilibar will play in the group stage of the Champions League.
