Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov explained how physical exercise and sport helped him overcome life’s difficulties.
– Overcome everything … How do sports and training distract me from everything that is happening in my life, – wrote Kostomarov on his page in social networks.
The post also published a video in which an athlete with prosthetic legs is engaged on a treadmill and also performs various exercises.
Kostomarov was hospitalized in January, since then the 46-year-old figure skater has been under medical supervision. The athlete suffered several amputations. In May, he posted on social media thanking everyone for their support.
At the end of June, Kostomarov posted two videos showing him training with prosthetic legs.
Kostomarov, associated with Tatyana Navka, won the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin in ice dancing. Furthermore, the duo won the World Championships twice and won the European Championships gold medals three times.
