All-Russian Swimming Federation President Vladimir Salnikov told that in the 2024 season the Russian Cup is expected to start again with a stage in the Far East.
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk won the first stage this season. This week the third stage of the Russian Cup takes place – it is organized by Irkutsk.
– For the first time in the history of Russian swimming, competitions of this level are held in Irkutsk, there is a good swimming pool, we are expanding the geography of departures. Next year we also plan to start the Russian Cup with a leg in the Far East – it could be Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk or Vladivostok, – Salnikov told .
