Boyko: I will always be a Dynamo Kyiv fan

The goalkeeper will soon move to Polissya

Goalkeeper Denis Boyko said goodbye to the fans of Kyiv Dynamo.

“It’s time to say goodbye to our home club! I was born in Kiev, my father played for Dynamo, I was brought up on the traditions and love for this, without exaggeration, a big club, so in my heart forever, in capital letters, the name of Kiev Dynamo will be minted!”

“I would like to sincerely thank all the teammates and coaches I have worked with during this period. And also to all the staff of the club, who helped me every day on the base and beyond. I am also infinitely grateful to the president of the club for what he did for me throughout my career at Dynamo.

“Special thanks to our fans who supported us both in times of victories and in difficult times of defeats. You are our strength!”

Boyko left the Kiev club in June on a free transfer. Last season, the goalkeeper played only six matches for Dynamo, in which he conceded three goals. In three fights, Boyko played “to zero”.

During his performances in the Kyiv club, Boyko played 108 matches in all tournaments in the period 2005-2014. and since 2018. Together with Dynamo, Denis became the champion of Ukraine, won the Ukrainian Cup twice and the country’s Super Cup three times.

In addition to Dynamo, Boyko also played for Obolon, Kryvbas, Dnipro, Spanish Malaga and Turkish Besiktas. As part of the Ukrainian national team, he played seven matches.

According to Sport Arena, Boyko will soon arrive at Polesie. The 35-year-old goalkeeper has already agreed on the terms of a personal contract with the Zhytomyr club.

Dynamo finished fourth in the Ukrainian Championship and will play in the Conference League next season.
