The current limit of foreign players in the Russian volleyball championship has a positive effect, which is confirmed by the results of the national team and clubs on the international stage, said the former head coach of Zenit Kazan and the Russian national team in an interview with Vladimir Alekno.

In the men’s and women’s Volleyball Superleague, clubs are entitled to register a maximum of two foreign players.

– In Russian volleyball for many years the same limit of legionnaires. Would an increase in the number of foreigners help Russian clubs become more competitive in Europe or Russian volleyball in general?
