“In training camp, many skaters have already performed difficult jumps” – group coach Mishina

Alexei Mishin’s group coach Yegor Cheloshkin told that his students are already training difficult jumps for the new figure skating season.

The gathering of Alexei Mishin’s group in Kislovodsk took place in the second half of June. On July 4, the group began to gather in Türkiye. Among the figure skaters are Elizaveta Tuktamysheva, Mikhail Kolyada, Evgeny Semenenko, Matvey Vetlugin.

– We began to jump gradually, after the holidays we do not force events. Although the athletes are now ready to go ultra-si, there is no need to start the season abruptly with this. Nevertheless, in training camp, many have already performed difficult jumps.

The gathering in Kislovodsk was the first for our group of the season. Most skaters were trained in the training regime after the holidays, someone had already started skating a little before that. We focused on OFP. There was also on-ice training, choreography and acting skills. Many versatile activities were organized for children: a swimming pool, table tennis and football, where our athletes played with the athletes of the Evgeni Plushenko group. It’s not the first time we live with them at the base, but we train separately, Cheloshkin told .
