“This great woman will be sorely missed” – Shekhovtsova on the death of Irina Raber

On Wednesday, FFKKR chief executive Alexander Kogan told that Raber died aged 74.

This great woman will be greatly missed. She was an incredible professional at her job. And as a woman, Irina Yakovlevna was simply amazing!

This is an irreplaceable loss for Russian figure skating. Good memory and may the earth rest in peace. We will always remember her and she will remain in our hearts. Irina Yakovlevna left a good memory and a bright mark on herself, Shekhovtsova told .

From 2005 to 2022, Raber headed the Moscow Figure Skating Federation.
