Most of them have changed their surname and two have their date of birth. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Naked Sport”.
The Syrian national team includes Daria Dzhedzhula (badminton), Tatyana and Daria Malkov (cycling), Karina Poludkina (athletics) and Anastasia Sorokina (swimming). The international federations know nothing about the change of nationality of these athletes. They are registered in the Russian national team.
The Pan Arab Games are organized by the National Olympic Committees.
