Father of cyclists Malkovs – on their candidacy for the tournament for Syria: “They won’t go anywhere”

The father of cyclists Daria and Tatyana Malkov, coach Vasily Malkov, told that the athletes are not going to start at the Pan Arab Games in Algiers.

The Malkovs have been entered under different names for these competitions, as noted on the tournament’s official website. Later, Daria Malkova told that she came to Syria as a training partner for local runners.

– Internet is such a thing, wrote one of them, everyone picked it up. They won’t go anywhere and change their citizenship, nor was it part of the plans to perform at these Games, Malkov told .
