Another victory of Oleksandr Kucher’s team in sparring
Dnepr-1 defeated minai in the control match in Uzhgorod – 4:0.
The first half passed with mutual dangerous moments, but the Dnipro team managed to score – Oleksiy Gutsulyak opened the score. The midfielder could have scored a second goal even before the break, but missed the target from close range.
In the second half, Dnepr-1 scored a rout. First, Igor Kogut converted a one-on-one with Alexander Bandura, then Artem Dovbik scored, who came on as a substitute a few minutes earlier. The final score was set by Oleg Gorin, former footballer of Minai.
Earlier, Dnipro-1 defeated the amateur Sevlyush (5:0) and the newcomer of the First League Khust (4:1). Oleksandr Kucher’s wards will play the next match on July 9 with Metalist.
Last season, Dnipro-1 took second place in the standings of the Ukrainian championship. In the second qualifying round of the Champions League, Kucera will play Panathinaikos on 25 July and 1 August. Minay finished the season in 8th place in the UPL.
