Double Olympic medalist in speed skating Ivan Skobrev told that he is in constant contact with the Olympic figure skating champion Roman Kostomarov and hope for his speedy return home.
Kostomarov was hospitalized in January, since then the 46-year-old figure skater has been under medical supervision. The athlete suffered several amputations. At the end of June, Kostomarov posted two videos of himself exercising with prosthetic legs.
– We are in constant contact with him, he began to upload videos to the network, where he shows the difficulties he has to face. We try to support it with our messages. We look forward to every new successful step in Roman’s restoration. I hope that in the near future he will return home to his family,” Skobrev told .
