Sotnikova earlier in an interview with YouTube channel Tatarka FM reported a positive doping test in 2014, but noted that the “B” sample taken then tested negative.
“I haven’t heard of anything like that, I don’t remember such a case,” Lakernik told .
Earlier, a lawyer specializing in anti-doping issues told that the Olympic champion’s case could not be reopened. Sotnikova won the 2014 Games in the individual tournament.
