The Indonesian government did not provide a budget for the competitions in Bali
World Beach Games 2023which were scheduled in Bali from 5 to 12 August, have been officially cancelled.
The Indonesian government has not allocated a budget for the competition. The Indonesian National Olympic Committee has announced that it has no funding for the event and no time to prepare. Since there was a month left before the start of the competition, the 2023 Games can no longer be transferred to another country.
The Association of National Olympic Committees will soon determine the place and dates of the General Assembly. It will decide on the next competition.
The first World Beach Games were held in Qatar in 2019. At the event in Indonesia, competitions in 13 sports were planned. Earlier it was reported that the men’s and women’s teams of Ukraine in beach soccer won tickets to the Games-2023.
