Down-the-line.com / Figure Skating. Famous journalist Elena Vaitsekhovskaya commented on the words of Russian figure skater Adelina Sotnikova. She previously admitted that her doping test after the 2014 Olympics came back positive.

At the Sochi Games, Sotnikova won a gold medal. According to the athlete, the charges against her were dropped after the B sample was cleaned up.

“The only reasonable explanation that can be after the words of Adelina Sotnikova that in 2014 she had a positive doping test (which neither the leaders of the federation, nor Tatyana Tarasova, nor the personal trainer of the athlete Elena Buyanova, who cared for Adeline at that time, almost around the clock), in my opinion, may be next.

When the skater somehow learned that she was mentioned in Grigory Rodchenkov’s “Letters of Happiness”, she really could take it exactly as she was talking about it now: was the name on the newspapers ? So something was seriously wrong with the samples. Well, since there were no penalties / deprivation of rewards, it means that, most likely, they also checked the second sample and found nothing.

Former coach Sotnikova reacted to the recognition of the athlete about a positive doping test

Does it make sense from the point of view of the half-childish imagination? Enough. Well, or the second option, also purely childish, remains: “Everyone has it! And me, right?” Frankly, this is not the smartest way to get attention,” Vaitsekhovskaya wrote on her Telegram channel.
