President of the All-Russian Swimming Federation Vladimir Salnikov shared his emotions after the ratification of world records Evgenia Chikunova And Kliment Kolesnikov by World Aquatics.
Earlier Thursday, the All-Russian Swimming Federation announced that World Aquatics had approved world records for Chikunova and Kolesnikov.
– We have repeatedly asked World Aquatics to endorse the world records of Kolesnikov and Chikunova. I am happy that no circumstances could prevent the ratification of these records, Salnikov told .
Chikunova set the world record for the 200m breaststroke (2:17.55) on April 21, 2023.
Kolesnikov set the 50m backstroke world record on November 22, 2022.
