On Thursday, July 6, the first final match of the Golden Euroleague 2023 took place in volleyball between the women’s team of Ukraine and Sweden.
The Ukrainians had their nominally home match of the two-match confrontation in the Romanian city of Piatra Neamts.
Ukrainian volleyball players managed to win a “dry” victory over the Swedes, taking all three sets in the match – 3:0 (25:15, 25:20, 25:19).
The second final match of the Golden Euroleague will be held in the Swedish city of Lund on Sunday, July 9th.

It will be remembered that the women’s volleyball team of Ukraine for the second time in its history reached the finals of the Golden Euroleague. In 2017, the Ukrainians became the winners of the tournament.
