Ukrainians will play with Brazil, Spain and Kazakhstan
Preliminary round draw held in Gothenburg, Sweden Women’s World Cup 2023. national team Ukraine got into group G, where they will play with Brazil, Spain and Kazakhstan.
Ukrainians will meet with Brazil on November 29. Matches with Spain and Kazakhstan are scheduled for December 1 and 3, respectively.

The top three teams from each quartet will advance to the main round of the World Championship. Next, 24 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 6 teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
The Ukrainian women’s handball team will play at the World Championship for the first time since 2009. 14 years ago, the blue-and-yellows took 17th place. The best result of the Ukrainian team is the fourth place at the 2003 World Cup.
The World Handball Championship among women’s national teams will be held from November 29 to December 17, 2023 in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The current world champion is Norway.
