Malinin’s agent spoke about the skater’s programs for the next season

Agent of the American Figure Skater Ilya Malinin Ari Zakaryan told that the short program of the new season will be accompanied by Spanish music, while the free program is being staged.

Malinin, 18, took third place at the World Championships in Japan, which took place in March. The athlete performed six quadruple jumps in a free program. The American became the first athlete to properly land a quadruple Axel at the World Championships.

Malinin was born in the United States to Russian figure skaters Tatyana Malinina and Roman Skornyakov. They performed at Allied and Russian tournaments, and later represented Uzbekistan. Malinin, 18, is the bronze medalist of the 2023 World Championships in men’s singles.
