Plushenko’s academy reported that he was and remains the coach of Veronika Zhilina

Angela Plushenko Academy OFP coach Yerem Gazazyan told that the coach Veronica Zhilina will still be Yevgeny Plushenko .

Earlier, RIA Novosti reported that the winner of the Russian Grand Prix final in junior figure skating, Veronika Zhilina, has changed her training group at the academy.

– His trainer was Evgeny Viktorovich [Плющенко]and so he remained. Veronica just changed bands. Now maybe other athletes are there,” Gazazyan told a correspondent.

Veronika Zhilina joined Plushenko Academy in the spring of 2020. Before that, she worked in Eteri Tutberidze’s group.

Zhilina, 14, won two stages of the Russian Junior Grand Prix and the Junior Grand Prix Final in the 2022/23 season.
