“Some skiers at the Malinovka training camp had short-term poisoning” – Borodavko

Head coach of the Russian national cross-country team Yuri Borodavko told that some of the athletes in his group had some health issues during the first training camp at Malinovka.

The first collection in Malinovka ended on June 25, and the second began on July 4 and will end on the 23rd.

– The first training camp in Malinovka ended without any serious problems. Although there were some health issues – someone had teeth and some had short term poisoning. The rest of the collection proceeded normally.

Now the second training camp has started, everyone has stopped, they are training. Good weather. Everything is as it should be. All athletes are healthy, everyone is working. You can see that we are gradually reaching the necessary conditions and the next level of training, Borodavko told .

The Borodavko group includes Olympic champions Alexander Bolshunov, Denis Spitsov, Natalia Nepryaeva and Alexei Chervotkin, as well as Nikita Denisov, Artem Maltsev, Alexander Terentiev, Ivan Yakimushkin, Maria Istomina and Daria Nepryaeva.
