Lavrinenko: To date, Ingulets has 12 players on a contract

The club will look for newcomers in both the First League and the Premier League

Main coach Ingulets Sergey Lavrinenko spoke about the staffing problems of the team before the start of preparations for the new season. 12 players remain on the contract at the UPL club.

“Today we have 12 players who have active contracts. Life will force us to look for players both in the First League and in the UPL, ”said Lavrinenko.

“Where will Ingulets play? Until we understand it. There is no understanding where the championship will be held. The championship is planned to be held in Ukraine. But where exactly – in Kyiv, in Lvov – we don’t know yet.”

Earlier, Lavrinenko said that Ingulets will prepare for the new season at the club base. The collection of the team will begin after June 20.

At the end of the 2021/22 season, Ingulets finished 14th in the UPL standings. The championship ended ahead of schedule due to the invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.

Tentatively, the start of the new season in the UPL is scheduled for August 20. Matches can be held on the territory of Ukraine and Poland.
