Russian cyclist BORA-Hansgrohe Alexander Vlasov said he was asymptomatic and his positive test should not affect the Tour de France bid.
Vlasov tested positive for coronavirus this week during the Tour de Suisse stage race, where he topped the general classification.
– There should be no problem with the application for the Tour de France. The doctor said quarantine for a week. I have no symptoms, I feel fine,” Vlasov told .
The Tour de France starts on July 1.
