Athletistic/Figure Skating. Tatyana Tarasova, a well-deserved figure skating coach, expressed her support for the idea of Irina Rodnina, three-time Olympic champion and State Duma deputy, that Roman Kostomarov head the Russian Figure Skating Federation.
“I think it’s a great idea. I support such an initiative,” Tarasova said, according to Metaratings.ru.
In January, Kostomarov was hospitalized with a diagnosis of pneumonia. He then developed complications, including necrosis and sepsis, which led to the partial amputation of his limbs. On July 6, Kostomarov posted a video in which he expressed his gratitude to doctors after being released.
