Varvara Kisel worked in the Plushenko Angels group. The 16-year-old once played for Russia, since the 2020/21 season she represents Belarus. Earlier it was learned that the banned drug furosemide was found in the skater’s samples. The exclusion period is two years.
– The Plushenko Angels ice is private, is there a chance for Varvara to continue training there?
– There may be questions. There is such an article “prohibited cooperation”. Coaches who are in the federation system, [с дисквалифицированными] can’t work. If there are national team athletes, they can certainly show prohibited cooperation, BNADA told .
