Japanese synchronized swimmer Inui won the technical solo at the World Championships in the absence of the Russians

Japanese synchronized swimmer Yukiko Inui won gold with a technical program at the World Aquatic Championships, which take place in Budapest.

She scored 92.8662 points. The second was Ukrainian Marta Fedina – 91.9555, the third – the representative of Greece Gospels of Platanioti (89.5110).

For the first time in history, a non-Russian athlete won gold in the technical program of the World Championships.

Russian teams refused to participate in this tournament, later, at a meeting of the Bureau of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), it was decided not to invite Russian athletes to competitions under the auspices of FINA until the end of the year because of the situation in Ukraine.
