The BLU manager plans to talk to the Ukrainian at the start of pre-season
Head coach Chelsea Mauricio Pochettino plans to talk individually with the Ukrainian winger Mikhail Mudrikto prepare the best strategy for his work in the club.
“I’m going to meet Mudrik when he arrives for pre-season. I really want to see him and get to know him better. Then we will develop a strategy that will allow him to be at the level expected by Chelsea.”
Mudrik moved to Chelsea in January and signed an eight and a half year contract. Chelsea and Shakhtar agreed to sign Mudrik for 100 million euros, and the Ukrainian’s salary is 7.5 million euros per year.
The midfielder has made 17 appearances for the Blues in all competitions. Mikhail has two assists.
The London club finished the Premier League season in 12th place and did not qualify for European competition. In the first round of the new league season, Mudrik’s team will play with Liverpool.
