In the final, the Ukrainians beat the Swedish team twice
Ukrainian women’s volleyball team became a champion Golden Euroleague-2023.
In the second leg of the final, Ukrainian volleyball players won Sweden – 3:0 (25:17, 25:22, 32:30). In the first match, Ivan Petkov’s team was also stronger – 3:0.
Ukraine won the Women’s Golden Euroleague for the second time in history. In 2017, the Ukrainians became the winners of the tournament, beating Finland.
Thanks to reaching the final of the Golden Euroleague, the Ukrainian women’s team received a ticket to the Candidates Cup for the right to play in the League of Nations. The qualifying tournament will be held at the end of July.
Earlier, the men’s national team of Ukraine lost to Turkey in the final of the Golden Euroleague-2023 in five sets.
