An experienced player remains in the capital team for another two years
Dynamo on the official website of the club announced the extension contract with a defender Alexander Karavaev. The new agreement is for two years, until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Karavaev’s previous contract with the White-Blues expired at the end of June. It was reported that the 31-year-old player was offered to extend the cooperation with wage cuts.
Karavaev joined Dynamo in 2019. Together with the blue and white defender became the winner of the championship of Ukraine, twice won the Cup and the Super Cup of Ukraine.
Last season, Karavaev played in 30 matches for Dynamo in all competitions, scoring two goals and three assists. In total, the Ukrainian has 130 fights for the Kyiv team.
Dynamo is currently at a training camp in Austria. In the first round of the new Ukrainian Premier League, Mircea Lucescu’s team will play against Minai.
