Athletistic/ Figure Skating. For the past three years, the First Channel Cup has been held, which is a team tournament. However, its format will be changed soon. This was announced by two-time Olympic champion Maxim Maxaim Trankov.
– I don’t like that the athletes don’t treat the First Channel Cup as a competition: they don’t prepare for it, they arrive in very poor physical and technical condition.
I’ll let you in on a little secret: next year this tournament will be reformatted for just that reason. Changes will be made,” Trankov said in podcast “Free Program” on Channel One.
