Previously, the athlete had been diagnosed with mononucleosis. As a result, Anna stopped training at the Novogorsk training camp.
“A highly contagious infection that is transmitted through body contact, kisses and similar things. What should you do to avoid getting infected? Be considerate of sexual partners and observe personal hygiene,” Shestakov told Sport24.
Shcherbakova, 19, is the 2022 Olympic champion, world champion, three-time world champion. Previously, the figure skater, together with Alina Zagitova and Alexei Yagudin, hosted the show Ice Age on Channel One.
At the moment, Russian figure skaters are suspended from international tournaments.
