Ukrainian and Salvadorian lost to the duo Sutjiadi / Middelkop
Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk and Salvadoran Marcelo Arevalo were defeated in the 1/4 finals of the mixed doubles Wimbledon 2023.
Kostyuk and Arevalo lost in two sets to the representative of Indonesia Aldila Sutjiadi and the Dutchman Matva Middelkop.
In the first set, Marta and Marcelo gave the opponents two games on their serve – 5:7. In the second installment, the Ukrainian and the Salvadorian lost in a tie-break.
In singles, Martha lost to Madison Keys in the third round. In doubles, Kostyuk and Elena-Gabriela Ruse failed to overcome the 1/16 finals.
Today, Lyudmila Kichenok will also play in the quarterfinals of the mixed doubles at Wimbledon 2023. Ukraine is paired with Croatian Mate Pavic.
