Kichenok and Pavich advance to 2023 Wimbledon mixed doubles semi-finals

For Lyudmila, this will be the first semi-final in the mixed doubles at the Grand Slam tournaments.

Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok and representative of Croatia Mate Pavic advanced to mixed doubles semi-finals Wimbledon 2023.

In the 1/4 finals, Kichenok and Pavich, seeded under the seventh number, defeated the Frenchman Nicolas Mayu and Anna Danilina from Kazakhstan. The fight lasted a little over an hour.

In the semi-finals, Kichenok and Pavich will play the winners of the match Olivia Nicholls / Johnny O’Mara – Ellen Perez / Matthew Ebden.

For Lyudmila, this will be the first mixed doubles semi-final at the Grand Slam tournaments. Pavic is the winner of the US Open-2016 and Australian Open-2018 in the mixed doubles.

In the 1/2 finals of the mixed doubles at Wimbledon 2023, Marta Kostyuk failed to break through. Today, the Ukrainian and Salvadorian Marcelo Arevalo lost to the representative of Indonesia Aldila Sutjiadi and the Dutchman Matva Middelkop.
