The Latvian club bought out the contract of the leader of Kryvyi Rih
Kryvbas announced the transfer of midfielder Rifeta Kapicha V Valmiera. The Latvian club bought out the contract of the 28-year-old Bosnian.
Today Kapić played for Valmiera against Slovenian Olimpia in the first qualifying round of the Champions League. The midfielder came on as a substitute in the second half.
It was reported that Kryvbas would receive at least 500,000 euros for the transfer of Kapich. The player himself will sign a three-year contract with Valmiera.
Kapich joined Kryvbas last October as a free agent. In February, the parties extended the contract until the summer of 2024.
Kapić made 23 appearances for Kryvbas, scoring six goals and providing two assists. The midfielder was named the team’s best player in the 2022/23 season.
Kryvbas finished seventh in the UPL 2022/23. In the first round of the new season, Yuriy Vernydub’s team will play Oleksandriya.
