Al-Nasr received a ban from FIFA on the registration of new players

The ban will extend to the next three transfer windows.

Al Nasr got banned from FIFA to register new players.

The FIFA decision applies to all operations of the club: both in the domestic and foreign markets. The transfer ban will last for three transfer windows.

Al-Nasr bought striker Ahmed Musa from Leicester in 2018 for 16.5 million euros, but did not pay the Foxes 457 thousand euros and a bonus amount. Both FIFA and the Lausanne Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) took Leicester’s side.

The case has been referred to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee. In turn, the club from Saudi Arabia insists on a technical error and insists on mitigating the punishment.

Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal plays for Al-Nasr. Croatian Marcelo Brozovic recently joined the club. The new head coach of the team in the upcoming season will be ex-coach of Shakhtar Luis Castro.

Al-Nasr finished the season in second place in the Saudi Arabian Pro League. Ronaldo’s side failed to win trophies last season, losing to Al Ittihad in the Super Cup and Al Wahda in the semi-finals of the Saudi Cup.
