Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov told that at the moment the school of the Olympic champion Alina Zagitova will exist on the basis of the existing Sports Palace, and after that it can move to a specialized facility.

“We are fully involved in this project, she has already been here, has drawn up a roadmap, we are drawing up a technical task for the center, we are looking for a site and at the same time we are dealing with legal questions, we are consulting in what form it could be, maybe in a public-private partnership We want to have a legal arrangement in place by the end of the year We can start not in a new facility, but for the instant based on our existing sports palace,” Leonov told a correspondent.
Zagitova suspended her sports career in 2019.
