According to the source, the Russian Olympic Committee and the NOC of Belarus, as well as the NOC of Guatemala, were not among the 203 National Olympic Committees to which the IOC will send invitations to the Paris Olympics.
The IOC said the final decision on the admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes will be made “at the appropriate time”.
Recall that the last Summer Games were held in Tokyo in 2021. The Olympics were originally scheduled to take place in the summer of 2020, but the competition was postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
